The new bouldering guide for Burguillo, El Tiemblo, and Vavarredondilla contains more than 1,800 boulders from a selection of the countless beautifully shaped granite blocks scattered throughout this region. The various sectors of the bouldering area are located around the large Embalse de El Burguillo reservoir. And that's what gives the area its special charm – after work or during the midday siesta (sometimes in the immediate vicinity of the rock), you can take a relaxing dip in the cool water. However, this does not apply to all of the 20 sectors. But even the more distant boulders always allow for a detour to the water.
The guide is simple and clearly structured. For all sectors, there are access sketches to the individual boulders at the beginning. All boulders are marked on satellite images of the individual sectors and numbered throughout. In addition, the access routes are described in detail in two languages. GPS coordinates are also provided for the best/most convenient parking options. This should ensure that you can find the boulder you are looking for.
Furthermore, there is information on the recommended season, the characteristics of the boulders (steepness, technique), the jump-off situation, the enjoyment factor, and an overview of the number of difficulties in each sector.
