As in many countries around the world, climbing has boomed in Cyprus in recent years. New climbing areas have popped up all over the island. Five main climbing areas have developed in Cyprus: Paphos and Troodos in southern Cyprus, and Famagusta, West Pentadaktylos and Central Pentadaktylos in northern Cyprus.
