Alpine Touring Topo Guide Valais Alps - Rock and ice tours between Mont Dolent and Fletschhorn
The 6th edition of the alpine tour guide has been completely revised, supplemented with additional tours and now offers 99 tours in rock and ice between Mont Dolent and Fletschhorn + an additional 180 alternative routes and variants.
Much has changed since the 5th edition of 2021 and compared to the first edition of 2010, no stone has been left unturned. The mountains are constantly changing. Rock outcrops or the marked retreat of glaciers change the landscape and thus also the route.
Despite all this, it is still worthwhile to undertake high-altitude tours in the Valais Alps and experience wonderful tours.
The character of each tour is described with concise texts, many pictures, topos and sections of the swisstopo maps.
The 1:25000 swisstopo national map sections with marked routes and information have been brought up to date and include an up-to-date list of huts as well as information on starting points and how to get there. In addition, detailed route topos and up-to-date pictures provide further information about the route, difficulties and key points.
