This climbing guide describes both sport climbing areas and many long, alpine routes in Val Grande di Lanzo as well as in Vallone di Sea. The Val Grande di Lanzo is located about 50 km northwest of Turin and should not be confused with the Parco Nazionale della Val Grande on Lake Maggiore.
The areas included are described in great detail. There is a detailed (Italian) text on the character of the area and on how to get there. Further information such as orientation, altitude of the area, recommended seasons, approach time, required rope length are presented in pictogram form. For the long routes - mostly between 150 and 200 climbing meters - there are additional notes on required equipment and fixed belay points. The individual pitches are also briefly described in text form.
The topos are presented almost throughout on good color photos.
A very clear and content-rich guide that leaves no question unanswered - as long as you speak Italian or, if necessary, consult a dictionary.
