Climbing without borders along the Adriatic coast. This guide presents an area that geographically forms a single unit, but extends through three different countries - Italy, Slovenia and Croatia - along the Adriatic coast. The climbing areas described stretch from Sistiana in the Gulf of Trieste, through Osp and Cerni Kal, far into the heart of Croatian Istria, to Vranjska Draga at the foot of Ucka, and along the east coast of Istria to Brsec. The areas described across the 3 national borders complement each other to form a fantastically beautiful unit that will delight even the most spoiled climber. The climbing guide shows itself to be the result of a successful cooperation of climbers from the three countries, who all belong to the same climbing community.
Five-language (including German), very well done guide throughout. All climbing areas described with brief introductions to the main features of the area, including access, route heights, orientation, predominant type of climbing, child-friendliness, and GPS coordinates of suitable parking. Some of this information is presented in the form of pictograms. The topos are partly drawn on color photographs and/or on hand-drawn sketches and are very easy to read throughout. The directions and access sketches are also very clear.
