Product information "climbing guidebook Climbing in the Ourthe valley"
Until now, there was no climbing guide for the climbing areas in the Ourthe valley. Bernhard Nöhles published this book as a summary of all the climbing opportunities in the Ourthe valley south of Liège - a total of 13 small climbing areas from Tiff (approx. 10 km from the outskirts of Liège) to Hotton. The described areas offer a variety of climbing crags, from well-secured beginner routes to more challenging sport climbing routes. The guide is clearly laid out, with the content reduced to the essentials. At the beginning of each chapter, you will find information on the height, orientation, protection and character of the climb. 120 pages language english / german edition 2024

In addition to the Freyr climbing area, which is known beyond the country's borders, there are of course other climbing spots in Belgium that are well worth a visit. Two of them are located near Namur (Beez and Rochers du Néviau), in the region and province of the same name in Wallonia in the heart of the country. Beez is a well-known climbing area in Belgium. It is located on an elongated rock massif that stretches along the Meuse to the east of Namur. Beez is popular with climbers due to its sporty routes with good holds and moderate levels of difficulty. There are around 200 routes in the area, ranging in difficulty from 3 to 7b. Thanks to its south-easterly orientation, the rock warms up quickly in the morning, making it an inviting place for climbers. The climbing guide is spiral-bound, informative and has very good color photos. It is written in Flemish and French.94 pagesLanguage Flemish / FrenchEdition 2022
