climbing guidebook Freyr
Climbing in Freyr
Located in southern Belgium on the river La Meuse (Meuse), this limestone climbing area is not only the largest in the country, but also enjoys enormous popularity. With over 600 routes of all levels of difficulty and up to 120 meters in height, multi-pitch routes can be found next to sport climbing routes.
Divided into eight sub-areas, the walls are presented with the help of pictograms, overview sketches and drawn topos. Some information is also available in English. Short verbal descriptions of the routes, however, are only in French and Dutch.
The closing part of the book is an overview of all the routes, sorted by difficulty (2-8c+).
And don't forget: Belgium has the best fries in the world!
The following sectors are presented:
Mérinos, 5 Anes, Tête de Lion, Le Pâpe, l' Al Lègne, Pucelles, Louis Philippe as well as Jeunesse.
