South Tyrol is a true paradise for climbers and boulderers. From west to east and south to north, a lot of variety is guaranteed. A variety of rock faces, most different geological composition, often in scenically unique areas and routes/problems in all difficulty levels represent a great enticement for every rock enthusiast.
This guide gives a good overview of South Tyrolean sport climbing areas and lists a selection of a total of 105 worthwhile climbing spots.
The individual spots are distributed among the regions Vinschgau / Passeiertal, Bolzano / Unterland / Burggrafenamt, Eisacktal / Wipptal / Gröden, Pustertal and Gadertal.
