The autonomous region of Valle d'Aosta is located in the very northwest of Italy. It is bordered by large mountains such as Mont Blanc and Monte Rose. This region is particularly rewarding historically, culturally as well as climbing.
The authors, after a long time, have made an inventory and put together all the sport climbing areas of the Valle d'Aosta in this climbing guide.
In addition to numerous single pitches, you will find enough multi-pitches. The climbing peaks/walls are provided with GPS data and can thus be found more quickly. The accesses to the area are dealt with in three languages and are additionally supported by very good site plans. The topos are presented graphically and are accompanied by pictograms (orientation, location above MM, family/child friendliness, approach time, frequency, belaying) which make it easier to select the peak/wall.
