Arco, Sarca Valley, Valle dei Laghi, Valli Giudicarie, Val di Non, Trento, Rovereto - whoever comes here will find a fantastic selection of climbing gardens and routes in completely different styles.
With the updated edition, this climbing guide presents the latest state of the world-renowned climbing region of Arco: every single wall and sector has been inspected and even the smallest details in route descriptions and difficulty levels have been checked; topos and descriptions are thus as up to date as possible (final work in March 2022). All approaches have been checked and revised again and in this edition additionally provided with GPS tracks. Furthermore, QR codes with GPS data are included, which makes it easy to find the parking lots with a smartphone. In addition, video clips about the most beautiful climbing areas are thus also available.
The publication of the climbing areas is of course done with the permission of the developers. They were consulted in all cases and if they wanted to keep an area "secret", we complied with this request.
Only very few of the 130 described climbing gardens are overly frequented - Massone, Nago and La Gola are among these. In many other, also extraordinarily beautiful areas, there are often only a few rope teams to be found. Yet these areas also offer many different climbs: in easy slab routes, with routes suitable for children, but also in steep walls or overhangs with the highest levels of difficulty.
Also in this book you will find additional content and information: In various articles we present personalities who were or are important for the older and more recent climbing history of the Sarca Valley.
